despite having to go to louisiana on a sad note...we made the best of it. we ate so much food and saw lots of family.

Yumm!! The food looks so good! Sorry you had to go for the reason you did but glad you had a great trip.
I love New Orleans but I don't love crawfish. Too much work for little food. But I'm glad you at least tried it...cross that one off your list.
tracy- ya it was a lot of work..but the sauce was awesome!
