it's been a WHILE

it's been a while since i have written on here.  life has been quite crazy.  at the beginning of feb i found out i got hired on at capo.  i am teaching government, geography and sdaie world history(english language learners)  it is quite busy, crazy, frustrating, rewarding, all at once.  every spare moment i am on my laptop doing lesson crap.  but, i love what i do.  waterpolo is over and now it is swim season.  just 1.5 more months and then i get a break from coaching.  i have been in season since sept 1!!!!!!

president's weekend i was in panama with my friend russell.  we celebrated being done with our teaching credential's.  he coaches waterpolo and swim at mission hs.  we had a fantastic time.......such a cool country!!

speaking of a cool country...i am in the process of applying for my work visa for australia.  for those of u that have know me for a while...ever since i got back from australia i talked about moving there.  well, since our economy is shit and i probably wont get a teaching job anywhere come sept...i want out of here.  for australia...u have to apply for a visa before u can get hired.  so, that is what i am doing.  cross your fingers for me :)

last night we had our annual alumni waterpolo game. i am ALWAYS the oldest girl by 4 or 5 years. this year i was able to get virginia and alexa to come play. yay! we had a blast!

COLORADO....

i went to colorado over veteran's day weekend. i needed a weekend away and it was perfect b/c it was my weekend in between boys/girls waterpolo. i stayed with my cousin amanda and karen. i was also able to meet up with my friends jeff, kristin, dan, shauna and eric.

boys wp is now over. we had an awesome last game last fri against huntington beach. i have 7 seniors on my team, so all 7 got to play together in the 4th quarter.

i heart halloween...

my friend serra and i went out on halloween. i had meetings all day at school....no kids. i was bummed b/c i love dressing up at school and seeing the kids dressed up. serra and i watched poltergeist and then we headed out with her neighbors. we didnt plan on staying out really late b/c we both had to get up early the next day. ya....i got home at 230 am...oops. getting up to proctor the SAT was not that fun.

last sunday jackie and robert invited us top their boat in dana point harbor. they got married the night before. me, jax, robert, lex, joe, michelle, adam, scott and scooby all had a fantastic day. what we thought was only going to be a few hours.....turned into a very long, fun day/night!

wow...it's been 10 yrs since i graduated highschool. time flies for sure!!! my friends and i didnt want to pay the $100 to go...so we got a group of us to just chill in the hotel bar. we had a great time. i didnt take tons of pics. but, here are a few.

magic mtn....

my cousin tala is turning 11 next month. ever since she was 4 she told her dad she wanted to go to magic mtn. well, on fri am he woke her up and told her she was flying to cali with him to go to magic mtn. she didnt believe him at all. i picked them up from burbank airport on fri afternoon and went to my cousins house in woodland hills. sat am we got up and went to magic mtn. after about 5 rollar coasters i was not feeling so good. wow...i finally feel old!!!
