sunday funday in the harbor

last sunday jackie and robert invited us top their boat in dana point harbor. they got married the night before. me, jax, robert, lex, joe, michelle, adam, scott and scooby all had a fantastic day. what we thought was only going to be a few hours.....turned into a very long, fun day/night!

capo ten year high school reunion...

wow...it's been 10 yrs since i graduated highschool. time flies for sure!!! my friends and i didnt want to pay the $100 to go...so we got a group of us to just chill in the hotel bar. we had a great time. i didnt take tons of pics. but, here are a few.

magic mtn....

my cousin tala is turning 11 next month. ever since she was 4 she told her dad she wanted to go to magic mtn. well, on fri am he woke her up and told her she was flying to cali with him to go to magic mtn. she didnt believe him at all. i picked them up from burbank airport on fri afternoon and went to my cousins house in woodland hills. sat am we got up and went to magic mtn. after about 5 rollar coasters i was not feeling so good. wow...i finally feel old!!!

indian summer...

it has been crazy hot here for all of sept and oct. i think we had maybe 2 nights i have worn a sweatshirt. this weekend was hot and windy...yay santa ana's. i went down to oceanside to hang with joe and lex. we had a fantastic day of laying out, mimosa's, swimming in the ocean and angelo's!

this past weekend we had a tournament at san clemente highschool. we got 7th out of 16 teams!

i have totally lagged on blogging. fri oct 3rd my dad and i went to game 2 of the angel's/red sox series. our seats were field level right near the left field foul pole. it was awesome! thundersticks and all.

highlight of my weekend

one of my waterpolo kids is in a tahitian dance group: le polynesia. they had a performance at cal state long beach last night. i went up with her family. the show was hands down amazing. the first half of the show was with all the new people, even lil 4 yr olds and slower music. the seccond half was the fun drumming and fast dancing. this pic doesnt do it all justice..but it was simply amazing. this weekend was spent moving and lesson plans...so what a nice change of pace!!!!!

missing europe...

i so wish i was still in europe. every time i come back from vacation i go thru these withdrawls of coming home. this year for sure i did!!! i was thrown into the crazy whirlwind of student teaching, coaching, being poor and moving back to my parents this weekend! well, i will be back in europe the end of july for waterpolo...so i guess i can wait til then:)

okay, so i started my student teaching this past week at capo. so far so good. teaching 2 world history classes (10th graders) and 2 geography classes (9th graders). i should be doing some lesson plans right now...but my cousin found this awesome site: www.yearbookyourself.com
